Since 2 September 2005, we have been responsible for all questions related to access to our natural gas transmission system. This network, with a total length of more than 800 km, is located in northern Germany and connected to the upstream pipeline system of Erdgas Münster GmbH. The system mainly carries natural gas produced from German gas fields.
We also arrange for and manage access to the upstream pipeline system as a service. The pipelines of the upstream system are included in the sub-network system of our transmission system for this purpose. Non-discrimination programme
To ensure non-discriminatory access to the gas transmission system, a binding non-discrimination programme has been introduced for all employees of Erdgas Münster Transport GmbH & Co. KG.
The report on measures taken within our non-discrimination programme demonstrates that we comply with our obligations to ensure non-discriminatory access under Section 8 (5), sentence 3, of the Energy Industry Act.
