ERDGAS MÜNSTER Transport operates a high-pressure gas pipeline system. In the event of damage to these pipelines, there is a severe risk of injury to people near to the site, damage to the immediate surroundings and the impairment of gas supplies.
During construction and other work near to gas pipelines, extreme care must therefore be taken to prevent damage of any type. Construction and other work near to any pipeline must not be performed without the permission of ERDGAS MÜNSTER Transport or the operator of the pipeline concerned.
In advance of any work, project owners, architects, engineers and construction contractors are under an obligation to obtain comprehensive information concerning any existing pipelines, cables and other systems on or near the construction site.
You are recommended to contact us during the initial planning stage so that damage to high-pressure gas pipelines can be prevented and any special precautions which may be required can be agreed at an early stage. This is in the interests of all parties involved in a project, because this approach prevents accidents, reduces costs and avoids claims for damages.
